Terryann Muthoni is the Managing Partner of the Firm and heads the Conveyancing and Property Law Department. Her practice focuses on complex real estate transactions, banking and finance, and corporate advisory.
As head of the Conveyancing Law Department, Terryann has extensive experience in structuring major real estate projects, including large-scale residential and commercial developments. She provides end-to-end legal solutions for clients, advising on project financing, land use and planning (including change of use, amalgamations, and subdivisions), negotiating project contracts, and overseeing due diligence and sale solutions. She has been instrumental in the successful delivery of projects encompassing over 5,000 housing units.
Her expertise also extends to the banking and finance sector, where she advises on complex financing transactions, including syndicated lending, project finance, real estate financing, and asset-backed securities.
Drawing from her previous experience as in-house counsel in a large corporate environment, Terryann is also adept at structuring and advising on various contractual agreements, such as Joint Venture Agreements, Partnership Deeds, and Shareholder Agreements. In her prior role, she was responsible for corporate governance, ensuring statutory compliance, advising the board, and notably managed the statutory books for an entity with over 70,000 shareholders.
Terryann is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Strathmore University, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Kenyatta University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.
