Douglas Juma is an alumnus of Teremi Boys High School and holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Kisii University. He is also an ongoing student for the Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. He recently sat his exams and attained 9Ps. His undergraduate dissertation thesis was: Consumer Protection in the Digital Finance. Additionally, Douglas enjoys writing on topical issues.
Previously, Douglas has trained under Makali & Co. and also Orende & Associates. He has also participated in various Moot Court Competitions including the 2023 All Kenyan Moot Court Competition Research Category and 2022 All Kenyan Moot Court Competition where he reached the Quarter Finals. He is also the inaugural Vice Chair of the Wakili wa Watoto Club and the inaugural Chair of the Nyanza and Western Branch of the Law Students Association of Kenya. He was also the Chair of the Kisii University Human Rights Club. Douglas believes he was born to be a lawyer and thanks God for the steps he is making towards the same.
