Perpetua is an Associate Advocate in the Firm. She was admitted to the Bar in January 2014 and joined the Firm in August, 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Catholic University of Eastern Africa and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. She also holds a Masters of Law degree in Intellectual Property Law from the University of CapeTown, South Africa. She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators- Kenya Chapter.
She is adept at Intellectual Property Litigation, defended or prosecuted matters before the Registrar of Trade Marks. She has also reviewed and drafted assignments and licenses; reviewed and advised on various IP & IP related agreements including franchise agreements, distributorship agreements, non-disclosure and non-compete agreements. Perpetua has value adding experience gained through representing both corporate and individual clients though the main stream courts in various Intellectual Property disputes.
