Benard Murunga, an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, holds the position of Managing Partner at the Firm. He is also the Head of the Commercial Law Department.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.
He is a continuing student for the Master of Laws degree at the University of Nairobi.
He is admitted as a Patent Agent by the Kenya Industrial Property Institute and has been involved in various landmark Trade Mark cases. He has been consistently listed in the World’s Leading Trade Mark Professionals survey conducted by World Trade Mark Review.
He is a Certified Public Secretary, Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths.
He has experience and interest in Commercial Law and Practice, Intellectual Property Law, Pensions Law, Conveyancing, Employment Law and Civil Litigation.
He has previously chaired the Board of Directors of Globology Limited and the Board of Trustees of Our Kid Foundation.
Currently, he is the Chair of the Centum Investments Staff Pension Scheme and in addition sits on the Council of the Association of Retirement Benefit Schemes.
