Maruti Khamala is a Partner in the firm and heads the Civil Litigation Department.  He has experience and interest in the following areas of legal practice: Civil Litigation, Debt Recovery, Insurance Claims and Probate work.

He has been involved in various landmark cases covering the various judicial bodies including the High Court, Court of Appeal, Tribunals and Arbitrators.

He was the Lead Counsel in the Weetabix v Manji Food Industries case that established the protection of a family of Trade Marks in Kenya.

 

Currently, he is a Trustee of Hekima Center which is a church where the Leadership Team is committed to growing people, challenging people to maximize their potential, become better and influence those around them.

 

Maruti is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths.  He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Moi University and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.
